Capcom Cup 12 competitor Kilzyou releases a new Street Fighter 6 tier list, featuring an unexpected placement for Sagat.
The recent balance patch for Street Fighter 6 has introduced quality-of-life improvements for Sagat and Elena, while slightly weakening Mai Shiranui. This adjustment aims to maintain game freshness until after Capcom Cup 12.
Kilzyou, a Capcom Cup 12 qualifier, has crafted a tier list reflecting the post-patch meta. The characters are categorized into S tier, A tier, B tier, and C tier, with a technical D tier reserved for characters deemed too strong to be placed lower.
Sagat's placement in the top 8 is notable, joining Ed, Ryu, Akuma, Terry, Mai, JP, and Blanka. M. Bison, Rashid, A.K.I., Dee Jay, Cammy, Guile, and Kimberly are also considered strong and placed in the A tier.
Conversely, Kilzyou identifies Zangief, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Jamie, Marisa, and Lily as the weakest characters in Street Fighter 6 at present. Notably, Chun-Li's low placement is somewhat surprising.
